With Android 4.0 making its way to numerous variations of the Samsung Galaxy Note across the globe, it's now time for Canadians to get some of that software update love as well. We've seen plenty of rumored dates come across the board from TELUS, Bell and Rogers but now Samsung has issued their own press release letting folks know things will get underway starting July 13th. As exciting as that sounds, that doesn't mean everyone will get the update on July 13th sadly. As noted in the press release:
The Premium Suite upgrade for GALAXY Note users will be available from Canadian carriers tomorrow. For specific details, please contact your local carrier.
In other words, we still only really have those rumored launch dates to go by, except now Samsung has added an additional level of reassurance to the mix. As a reminder of those dates, Bell is down for a July 16th release while TELUS and Rogers stuck with "late July". In any event, Canadian Galaxy Note owners will get the same updates as we previously highlighted on the AT&T units out there, if you want to see what you'll be getting, check out our AT&T Galaxy Note coverage.
