Better magna and better fonts. 
Amazon wants the Paperwhite to be more than just a fancy way to look at text. The company is also interested in making sure all your manga novels look good on the e-reader’s screen. What’s the point of reading the You’re Mine series if the panels are too tiny to see?
On Thursday, Amozon released a Paperwhite update that delivers the ability to enlarge panels on manga novels. The new Fit-to-Screen mode fixes novels that filled only half the Paperwhite’s screen. The update also improves the way the device handles the Palatino, Baskerville, Futura, Chinese and Japanese fonts, according to Amazon.
Readers can also remove recommended content from the Kindle store on the home screen — helpful if you really don’t want to be told that the new Danielle Steel novel is something you would be interested in.
The update is available for download for Kindle Paperwhites connected to Wi-Fi networks. Users can also download the update to computers and install it via a USB connection.
